Patrick Henry McCabe, 79, of De Pere, formerly of Cecil, WI and Green Valley AZ, died Saturday morning, July 30, 2011, following a one year battle with cancer. The son of the late Carl and Josephine (Zybert) McCabe was born March 26, 1932 in Chicago, IL. Mr. McCabe served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired officer. He married Shirley Aurie Scray in 1979. The couple lived in Rhinelander prior to retirement and moved to Arizona for the winter months and Wisconsin in summers. Pat loved playing golf and got two holes-in-one during his golfing years. Survivors include his wife, Shirley, one son, Scott McCabe, Minneapolis, MN, three stepchildren, Mitch (Vicki) Scray, Julie (Al) Koltz, Mark (Sandy) Scray, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one brother, Joseph "Shorty" (Pat) McCabe, and one sister, Sally Bernardini. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Kate, and a brother-in-law, Ron Bernardini.
