Patrick "Pat" Grady, of Freedom, WI, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at home. He was born March 16, 1924 to the late James and Mary (Manders) Grady. In 1941, Pat married the former Juline Arnoldussen, and they had nine children together until her death in 1992. After Juline's death Pat met Joan Giese and they married in 1993, Joan then preceded Pat in death in 2016. Pat worked for Miller Electric starting in 1961 and when he finally retired, he moved to Mountain, WI.
In his free time Pat enjoyed repairing cars and other vehicles, along with small engines. His interests included antique cars, car & tractor shows, auctions, dancing, and genealogy.
Pat is survived by his children: Anne (friend Arthur) Hoffmann, Laura (friend Richard) Gonnering, Mary (Butch) Willison, Patrick (Lois) Grady, Jr, Fredrick Grady, Rosalie (friend Ron) Poquette, and Cynthia (Ray) Morrison; 19 grandchildren: Paula Armstrong, Lisa Glysch, Scott (Towanda) Grady, Troy (Val) Hoffmann, Kim (Robert) Davis, Tracy (Jeff) Everetts, Jackie(Jed) Lehnert, Bobbi Gonnering, Rick Gonnering, Deanna Neumaier, Jeff (Betty) Grady, Ryan (Adrienne) Grady, Kari Grady, Janice Giessel, Tanya Grady, Jason Grady, Nicole Rivera; 32 great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by his wives; sons: Michael and Francis; grandsons: Jimmy Grady, Colt Ringer, and Joe Grady; son-in-law Karl Hoffmann; daughters-in-law: Diane "Dee Dee" Grady, Pam Grady, and Yvonne Grady; sister Mary Kieffer; brothers & sisters-in-law: Michael (LaVerne) Arnoldussen, Hillary Arnoldussen, Fabian (Iris) Arnoldussen, Burt Arnoldussen, Florus Weyenberg, & Earl Kieffer; and nephews: Daniel and David Arnoldussen.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM with Fr.
