Paul Joseph Vercauteren Jr., known by everyone as P.J. passed away August 13, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia at the age of 51 from complications of multiple myeloma.
P.J. was born December 13, 1972, in Green Bay to Paul Vercauteren and Jean (Gerke) Manders.
P.J. attended Abbot Pennings High School until its closing, completing his senior year at West De Pere High School. He then began his lifelong employment with VOS Electric in 1991. He earned his electrician master's degree and became a project manager.
P.J. was united in marriage to Sadie Johnson and had celebrated their 20th anniversary this past May. Sadie, family, friends, and work were his life.
He is survived by his wife Sadie, parents; Paul (Cindy) Vercauteren, and Jean (Dan) Manders. His sisters; Trista and Jason Johnson (Hailey & Micah), Angela Manders (Jayce & Aydan), Anna and Evan Trevarthen (Hudson), Katy and Matt Fusco (Mason & Cannon), his brothers, Larry and Jesse Rae Warpinski (Emmitt & Ellianna Rae), Matt and Sally Warpinski (Eva, Odin, & Greta), Jed and Dawn Manders (Joselyn, Jillian, & Jaida, and Carl and Meredith Manders (Freja, Elijah, Ester, and Knox). In laws; Brad and Merri Johnson, brother-in-law Guy and Sharona Johnson (Breckin & Sawyer), as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved dogs Olive and JoJo.
P.J. was preceded in death by his grandparents; Roy (Rita) Vercauteren, Carl (Rosemary) Gerke, Eugene (Mary) Manders, and Lawrence (Blanche) Van Lanen. Further preceded by aunts and uncles; Marcia Clemens, Ruth Hoffman, Bob Manders, and Steve Lorrig.

In lieu of flowers or plants, P.J.'s family request memorials of any type be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, because P.J. believed no child should ever suffer from cancer.
God chose to give P.J. his heavenly wings, before the wings of an airplane to bring him back home to his De Pere family.
P.J. your wings are now perfect, we love you.
