Pearl Marie McLester, 101, passed away peacefully at Anna John Residential Community Care Center on December 4, 2023, of Covid related symptoms. She was born in Oneida on February 22, 1922, to James Schuyler & Hattie (Moore) Schuyler.
Pearl is survived by her sisters Evelyn (Raymond – deceased) Elm, Harriet (Warren – deceased) Reiter and Cleo (Wayne – deceased) Cornelius; her children Judy Cornelius, Winnifred Thomas, Donnie (Lori) McLester, Pearl (Ken) Webster and daughter-in-law Janice McLester; her grandchildren Julie, Jennifer (Donnie), Skipper (Penny), Eric (Belinda), Crystal, Michael, Connie, Matthew, Tamar (Kiko), Tina (Greg), Lee (Paula), Corinna (Tracy), Scott (Linda), Tonya (Gerald), Garth (Felicia), Kaylynn, Dianne (Paul) and RJ (Justin). She is further survived by her many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren along with her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Barbara (Donald) Denny, Mary (Nick) Metoxen, Eva (Leslie) Danforth and Rita (Arthur) Webster; brothers Joseph Schuyler and Lester (Althea) Schuyler, husband Lee Gordon McLester II; her children Patsy Jean McLester, Ronnie McLester, Lee (Gordy) McLester III, daughter-in-law Betty McLester, sons-in-law Robert Thomas, Bernie Cornelius; grandsons Brian McLester and Robert (Yuma) Thomas.
Family and friends may come to call at Holy Apostles Church, 2937 Freedom Road, Oneida, WI from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Friday, December 8th, 2023. The Oneida Singers will begin at 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM with Fr. James Biegler. Burial to follow at Holy Apostles Cemetery. Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere, is assisting the family.
A very special Thank You to Anna John Staff. Pearl had said she considered you (the staff) as part of her home. You are all a part of her family.
