IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Peggy
Misco
October 25, 1949 – January 12, 2024
Peggy Lee Misco, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2024 following a multiyear battle with cancer. She was born in Green Bay on October 25, 1949 to Glenn "Tex" and Audrey (Schmelter) Misco.
Peggy grew up the oldest of three children and attended Allouez/Green Bay schools throughout her youth. She spent the majority of her career as a bartender, dispatcher and carrier driver.
Peggy enjoyed fishing, gardening, knitting, traveling, spending time with her family and the 4 legged grand-kids. Peggy's love to travel, inspired Penny to kayak in all 50 states and leave a stone in each state in her honor. Her blankets will wrap us with her love when we are missing her the most. All her flowers will bloom with new life every year to teach us to grow with a new look on life.
She is survived by her children, Chad (Kim) Maes, Charlie (Annie) Maes and Penny Maes. Peggy is further survived by her sisters, Susan Misco and Joann Richmond; and grandchildren Collin, Alexandria, Veda, Johnny and Cora.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Audrey; and brother-in-law, Kevin Richmond.
A celebration of life will take place for Peggy in the spring. More details will follow when available. Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere is assisting. Please visit www.ryanfh.com to extend online condolences.
The family would like to thank the Bellin Cancer Team and Unity Hospice for their care over the last two years. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for Peggy.
