Peter P. Klarkowski, age 92 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 2, 2023. He was born on July 1, 1931 to Peter and Viola (Kendziorski) Klarkowski in Green Bay, WI. He attended Green Bay East High School. Pete volunteered to join the Air Force in 1951. He served for four years, spending time in Korea and Edwards Air Force Base in California. After his service, he married Lorraine (Toots) Christman on September 8, 1956.

Pete worked at Fort Howard Paper Company for 43 years in the Printshop. He walked to and from work every day for his commute. He loved to walk and continued walking during his retirement. The miles on his shoes are uncountable.

During their marriage, they welcomed three wonderful children, Leslie, Laura, and Kevin. Leslie inherited his artistic talent, Laura inherited his love of a good walk, and Kevin "Re-Pete" shared his passion for the Packers.

As a kid, Pete would sneak into the Packer Games at City Stadium and was a lifelong Packer Fan. Pete was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish with his wife, Toots. He loved working in the yard and had great pride in his landscaping.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Toots, and his children; Laura (Bruce) Rhode, Kevin (Cheri) Klarkowski, and son-in-law Robert Wessley. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Jenny (Mike), Kayla (Zach), Michael (Laura), Bruce Jr., Rhonda (Darren), Vicki (Jason), Lindsey (special friend Tim), and Connor, great-grandchildren; Dayne, Hailey, Shawn, Wesley, Sophia, and Sydney who he all loved and adored. He is further survived by his brother David (Ginger) Klarkowski as well as three sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pete was preceded in death by his daughter Leslie Wessley, his parents, his four brothers and two sisters.

Friends and family may come to call on Wednesday, December 6 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S Oneida Street in Green Bay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be begin at 11:00 AM with Fr. Matt Simonar officiating. Military Honors will start immediately following the Mass.
