Peter Oshefsky, 59, Green Bay, passed peacefully in his home May 26, 2015. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. Peter was born to Patricia and Sheldon Oshefsky on February 21, 1956. He grew up on the West side of Green Bay participating in Boy Scouts and spending time up at the Oshefsky cottage near Athelstane, WI hunting and fishing. In 1972, Pete met Lorie Lemmen, and they were united in marriage on October 18, 1974. After marriage Pete and Lori had three children David, Dennis, & Shari. Peter had accepted a job at Kohler Company in Kohler Wisconsin moving their family to the Sheboygan area. He was a retiree of Kohler Company spending 34 years working in the plumbing division. The entire family loved spending time at their White Potato Lake cottage boating and fishing. In 1987 Peter moved his family back to Green Bay and Peter's wife Lori passed away in February of 1989 after a battle with cancer. Peter later married Robin Elliott, who had two children, Zeta and Eric. The Oshefsky family of four then became a family of seven. Several years after marriage Miyah Oshefsky joined the family and they were now eight. Peter continued his love of boating with the entire family for many years it was considered his favorite past time. Peter retired from Kohler in 2010 eventually moving into the house he grew up in. In the evening of his life Peter loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren. Peter is survived by his wife of nearly 25 years, Robin Oshefsky; his children, David (Necole) Oshefsky, Dennis Oshefsky, Shari (Robert) Kirsh, Zeta Martinez, Eric Elliott, and Miyah Oshefsky; grandchildren, Cierra, Jaden, Parker, Cole, Madilyn, Max, Hunter, Tanner, Talon, Naolin, Rowen, and Evan; brothers, Dan Oshefsky, Paul (Polly) Oshefsky, Tim (Angie) Oshefsky; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Lorie Lemmen-Oshefsky; and a brother, Michael Oshefsky. Friends and Family are asked to gather at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division Street, Green Bay (Enter from Kellogg Street) on Saturday, May 30, 2015 beginning at 9:00am.
