Obituary

Pete Green, 69, passed away peacefully at home on August 14, 2026, at 2:41 am with family by his side. He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on July 21, 1957, to Gerald and Elsie Green.

Pete was the best husband, father, and grandpa, “Grandpa Shorty,” a person could ask for. He was the kindest, most caring, and loving person who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. He had an endless knowledge of facts and a wonderful know-how to fix anything. His love of nature was shown by nature walks with his grandkids and his dog, Morris.

He was also an avid hunter and skilled fisherman. He knew all the tips and tricks to catch the big ones. He was the best storyteller, filling everyone around him with laughter and joy. The world was brightened by the light that was shown when he walked into the room.

Pete is survived by the love of his life, Deb; daughter April Green; stepchildren Melissa (Darian) Lundgren, Tony Van Heuklon, and Heather Schiesser. Grandsons: Thorn “Picker Man” Schiesser, Adrian “Shorty” Sebeikat, and David “Short Man” Lundgren. He is also survived by his brothers George (Barb) Green, John (Karen) Green, Bill Nelson, and Bill (Rose) Green.

He was preceded in death by stepson Nic Van Heuklon, his parents Gerald and Elsie Green, sisters Mary Lou Roehl and Minnie Nelson, along with his brother Mike Green. As Pete would say, “Love Ya, Later, Bye”.
