Phillip G. Eliason, age 70 of Ashwaubenon, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with Lewey Body Dementia. He was born August 27, 1941 to the late Hilmar and Martha (Baeb) Eliason.Phil was a lifelong community service kinda guy retiring after 35 years of service to Brown County at Austin Straubel Airport. A second generation volunteer firefighter for the Village of Ashwaubenon, and currently a member of the Ashwaubenon Retired Fire Co. NO. 213. Phil also had been a Deputy Brown Co. Service Officer. He enjoyed his retirement years fishing on Lake Metonga in Crandon with his friends and family.
He is survived by his children; Gwyn (Patrick) Hermsen, Wrightstown, Paul Eliason, Green Bay, Kris (Glenn) Gibertini, Hobart, IN. and Erin (Lance) Lott, Weston, FL. Phil's grandchildren Molly, Samantha, Sabrina, Natalie, Madison, Maxx, Gage, and Sydney also survive him, as well as his two sisters, Mariann (Emerson) Marcks, Jay (Helen) Marcks, Keith (Sherry) Marcks, Jean Eliason, his fianc Mari Abts, and the mother of his children, Ruth Eliason. Also many friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Steven Marcks.
