Ralph Garth Destiche, 85, De Pere, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was born on December 24,m 1940 to Norbert and Eleanor (Hurth) Destiche.

Ralph attended Cathedral Grade School, class of 1955, and graduated from Premontre High School, class of 1959.

He joined the Marine Corps Reserve in June 1958, and went on active duty from June 4, 1959, to April 30, 1980. Ralph served in many states and foreign countries, having served two tours in Vietnam. He was honored to be awarded the Navy Commendation Medal with Valor.

Ralph married Elizabeth Koch, and she preceded him in death. He married Bonnie Burke (nee Belanger, Shepardson), and she preceded him in death in 2022.

Ralph was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, and Abbot Pennings Council 3955 of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his sons; Andrew (Julie) Destiche and their children Peyton, and his daughter Lilly, and Chris (Cassie) and their children Saydee, Evie, and Elijah. Tony (Kim) Destiche and their children Devin and Lindsey. Three stepchildren; Mike (Linda) Belanger, Kristine Belanger, and Greg (Jessica) Belanger. Four step grandchildren; Will, Clara, Sammi, and Cali Belanger, as well as nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elizabeth, and wife Bonnie, his daughter Annette, brothers James, Wallace “Wally”, John, Kenneth, and his sister Gail.

Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 1305 Lourdes Ave., De Pere from 9:00AM – 10:45AM Friday, March 27, 2026. A Knights of Columbus service will take place at 10:45AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating. Military Honors will follow. Ryan Funeral Home is assisting the family.
