Randall E. "Randy" Jourdan of Oneida, passed away surrounded by numerous family members on Monday, September 19, 2011. He was born on June 13, 1944, to the late Vernon and Katherine (Metoxen) Jourdan. Randall was a loving and outgoing person and loved by all who knew him. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Randall loved the outdoors; he was an avid fisherman and golfer. He also liked to play the guitar and watch baseball. Randall was a "real superhero" to his grandchildren. He liked to say he was a master carpenter.
He is survived by his partner in life, Shirley Schuyler; his children, Bill (Lisa) Jourdan, Debbie Cornelius, Randy Jr. "Sunny" Jourdan, Mike Jourdan (Lisa Moore), Lyle (Tera) Jourdan, Jerry Jourdan (Tami Hill), Candace (Ron) House, Alicia Danforth and Lee Ann Schuyler (John Thomas); 29 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Randall is further survived by his siblings: Kermit (Vicki) Jordan, Kathleen Elm, Valerie (Marshall) Groleau, Caroleen (John) Jourdan, Aloyious Jourdan, June Wommack, Marvin (Janice) Jourdan, Clint Jourdan, his special nephew Todd Jourdan and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Randall is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Gerrid Danforth; his brother, Hubert and 4 sisters, Elaine, Mary Agnes, Florence and Florene.
Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere from 6 8 pm Wednesday (TODAY). Oneida Hymm Singers at 6:30 pm, prayer service at 7:30 pm. Visitation will continue after 9:30 am on Thursday at Oneida Methodist Church until the time of service at 11 am with Pastor Earl L. Smith officiating. Entombment in Allouez Mausoleum.
