Obituary

Raphael (Ray) Rozmarenowski, 70, of De Pere, died Monday morning September 21, 2015, following a short battle with cancer. The son of the late Jerome "Harry" and Henrietta (Van Ven Roy) Rozmarynowski was born March 17, 1945 in Denmark. He married the former Theresa Liebergen on June 1, 1968 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Greenleaf. He served in the U. S. Army, with the U.S Forces Support Unit in Korea from 1963 to 1966. Ray had retired from Ft. Howard Paper Company after 32 years of service. He later worked at Progressive Farmers Co-op where he worked pumping gas. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, going on bus trips, and camping. Ray was a member of the Wrightstown Legion Post. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Theresa, two sons Jerry (Sarah), Wrightstown, Scott, De Pere, daughter Sarah (Matthew) St. Martin, Milwaukee, grandchildren, Kevin, Micaela, Tiffany, Rachael, his siblings, Donald (Delores) Rozmarynowski, Betty (Gerald) Gajewski, Robert (Joann) Rozmarynowski, twin brother, Richard (Betty) Rozek, Bonnie Rozmarynowski, Rita (Thomas) Stankevitz, his in-laws, Paul (Marian) Van De Hey, Carol Liebergen, Gordon (Bonnie) Liebergen, Anna Schmidt and Ben Rottier, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, Brittany, two sisters, Karen Van De Hey, Mary Ann DeGrave, parents-in-law, sister-in-law, Mary Jane Rottier, brothers-in-law, Earl Schmidt, Ronald DeGrave, and Melvin Liebergen, and one nephew, Robert Schmidt. Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday September 24, 2015. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue after 9:00 am on Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, 1307 Lourdes Avenue, De Pere, until time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday at the church with Father Tim Shillcox, O. Praem, officiating. Full Veteran's Rites will be accorded following the Mass at church.
