Raymond "Ray" Krutz, 87, De Pere, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 6, 2012 surrounded by his family. Ray was born June 1, 1925 in Green Bay, the son of the late Walter and Clara (Kurowski) Krutz. On August 13, 1992 he married the former Barb Brick in Michigan. Ray graduated from Green Bay West High School and Badger Business College with a Business Administration degree. Ray served his country in the U.S. Army.
Ray was an accountant for WPS for 41 years retiring in 1988. He was a member of St. Anne Episcopal Church, De Pere, Past President of the Green Bay Credit Bureau, and Past President and Past Secretary of the Downtown Green Bay Kiwanis Club and was involved with the Beja Shriner. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, woodworking, and making many items for his grandchildren, which they will forever cherish. Through his creativity he brought many ideas to life. His silly poems made many people smile.
Ray is survived by his wife Barb Krutz, daughter Linda (Jay) Krull; granddaughters: Justine (Paul) Leeman, Jenessa, Johanna; grandson Jase; sister Mary (Mike) McKeever; stepdaughter Kim (Gary) De Winter and their son Addison, stepson Mark (Jean) Conrad and their children Ryan and Sarah, stepson Craig (Donna) Conrad and their children Catie and Corey, stepson Paul Conrad, and stepson Todd Conrad. He is further survived by his niece Clara Mae (Gregg) Neville and their daughter Anna. Ray was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lois (Ken) Gerrits.
Friends and family may visit on Monday, September 10, 2012 from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St De Pere. Funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Fr.
