Rebecca BrownEyes-Summers, 79, formerly of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. She was born on July 24, 1935 in Porcupine, SD to the late Louie and Thelma (RedWolf) BrownEyes. In 1962, she married Anderson R. Summers Jr. He preceded Rebecca in death in 2002. She will be missed by her son, Daniel Summers; sisters-in-law, Milton (Nadine) Dallas, Margaret Fermanich; brother-in-law, Orville Summers, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Edward and Lenert BrownEyes; three sisters, Annie BrokenLeg, Virginia GhostDog, and Rose BrownEyes. Friends and family are asked to gather at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, WI, on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. The Oneida Hymnal Singers will perform at 6:30pm. At 7:00pm, a funeral service will be held with Rev. Earl L. Smith officiating. The Big Drum will close the evening after the service.
