Rebecca "Becky" Sue Holdiman, 69, Abrams, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 21, 2022. She was born August 11, 1953, to the late Wesley and Lucille (Burmeister) Lohrenz. Becky was a graduate of Shiocton High School and choose to attend UW Stout, graduating with a degree in education. She was always a good student. Becky went on to teach at Green Bay Southwest as well as Green Bay West, first as a Home Economics teacher than as an Early Child Development/Family & Consumer & CNA teacher. On April 14, 1979, she married Russ Holdiman at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Black Creek (Town of Center). Becky was so proud of the 17.5 acres of land that they made their home on, planting the many flowers she cared for, and the thousands of trees she and Russ planted. Always a very caring and giving person, Becky enjoyed quilting, so she could give them to family and friends, or to enjoy seeing them hung on her walls. Becky and Russ loved the dogs they have raised, and she looks forward to seeing them in Heaven. She so loved her family and friends, and Christmas was very important to her, as a time for them all to come together.
Becky is survived by her husband Russ, her brothers; Bill Lohrenz, Mike (Charm) Lohrenz, as well as her sister-in-law Barb Holdiman, two nieces, nephew, and many friends.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Barbara.
Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere after 4:00PM, Sunday, August 28, 2022, until time of service at 6:00PM.
Special thanks to St. Vincent Hospital and Unity Hospice, and her many great friends that she was blessed with over time and in recent health problems.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Green Bay Botantical Gardens, or Oconto Humane Shelter would be appreciated.
Becky had a strong faith in God, that helped her through life's challenges.
