Reginald Ralph "Reggie" Skenandore Sr., 86, Oneida, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Sunday, November 14, 2021. The son of Lester and Rose (Cooper) Skenandore was born in De Pere on June 2, 1935. Reggie was the oldest of 15 children.
In his younger years, Reggie was a mechanic and "one of the best transmission guys in Milwaukee." He retired from the Oneida Casino. He enjoyed taking road trips with family, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time on the family pontoon.
Reggie is survived by his children, Craig (Peggy), Terry (Stephanie), Tim, Tina, Reggie Jr. (Paula), Kathy (Pete) Young, Tammy; his step-children, Rick Swamp, Brian (Michelle) Swamp, David (Judy) Swamp and Julie Mehojah; his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is further survived by his former wives, Carol Schofield and Karen Skenandore; his special friend Alfrieda Grignon; siblings Kenneth Skenandore, Dorothy Gruetzmacher, Geraldine Weller, Pat Whitson, Janice Prohazka, Jacqui (Donn) Pozan, Sue (Dave) Martinson, Mary Gaetz, Judy Skenandore, Kathy Skenandore and Roger (Donna) Skenandore; and special nephew Steve Bransted. Reggie is even further survived by his brother-in-law, Ken Bente; as well as many other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Rose; siblings, William Skenandore, Ronald Skenandore and Maxine Bente; daughters Regina and Karen; step-son Gregory; and grandson Adam.
A funeral service will be held at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church, Freedom Road, Oneida, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Burial will follow at the Holy Apostle Cemetery.
