Richard D. Nusbaum, 58, formerly of De Pere, died unexpectedly Sunday November 7, 2010 at his home in Cathedral City, CA. The son of the late David and Aleen (Kuhlman) Nusbaum was born June 8, 1952 in Green Bay. He was a graduate of East De Pere High School. Richard served in the U. S. Navy and served on the USS Coral Sea during the Vietnam Conflict.
Richard was most recently in various departments at Schreiber Foods for 15 years prior to moving to Cathedral City, CA. He was a member of the Green Bay Curling Club and was an avid Packer Fan. Recently, he made his annual trip home to visit family and friends in De Pere and attend the Packer-Viking Game. He was a kind hearted, generous man.
His family includes his siblings, Dan and Kit Nusbaum, De Pere, John and Nancy Nusbaum, De Pere, Bill and Sue Nusbaum, Sturgeon Bay, Barbara and Bill Mawhinney, Massey, Ontario, Bob and Amanda Nusbaum, Potosi, WI, David and Julie Nusbaum, Menomonee Falls, and Bill and Nancy Hayes, De Pere, thirteen nieces and nephews, which include his godchild, Tori Aleen Stout. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Richard's Life will be held at RYAN FUNERAL HOME , 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere on Saturday November 20, 2010.
