Richard James Priewe resident of Oneida, WI passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023. He was born on September 6, 1969, to James and Charlene (Ratsch) Priewe in Milwaukee, WI.

He attended Nathan Hale High School and NWTC in Green Bay. Richard enjoyed gardening as well as caring for feral cats and his two house cats, Butters and Mudpie. He enjoyed a good joke-the cheezier, the better. Bad puns were his favorite.

Richard is survived by his partner Ann Pritchard; his mother, Charlene Smith; siblings, Jonathan Priewe, Joseph Priewe, and Ellen (Priewe) Kann.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Priewe; uncle, Kenneth Priewe; aunt, Marie (Priewe) Catozzi; grandfather, Erich Priewe, grandmother, Edna Priewe, grandmother, Arlene Hornada, grandfather, Charles Ratsch; and beloved dog, Baby.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on May 19, 2023, at Ryan Funeral Home (305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere) until time of service at 5:00 PM with Pastor Chris Burg Presiding. The burial will take place in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Hobart WI on May 22nd at 1:00 PM.
