Richard “Rick” J. Klika, 70, Green Bay, passed away July 12, 2026, at his home. Rick was born September 22, 1955, to the late Gerald and Joan (Thibodeau) Klika.

He married Debra Vandehei on October 16, 1976, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Green Bay. Richard worked in the restaurant and service industry. In 1998, Rick and Debi purchased Chambers Hill Bar and Grill where he enjoyed sitting under the tent in the summertime and watching the sunrise with his best buddy, his dog Riley.

In his younger years, Rick enjoyed golfing with his family and brothers. Rick was a long-standing member of the Brown County Tavern League and gave to numerous charities.

Survivors include his wife; Debra, his children; Jennifer (John) Evans of Portland, Oregon, Steven Klika of Howard and Amanda Klika of Suamico; his only grandson; Jackson, and his favorite dog; Riley. Siblings; Terry (Craig) Hussin, Dennis Klika, Dianne Tease, Andy (Julie) Klika, Marty Klika; and brother-in-law, Dan Johnson. Rick is also survived by his employees at Chambers Hill, who were more like family; in particular, Pat and Paula for everything you two have done for us; and his best friend Cathy. Numerous nieces, nephews, and siblings-in-law also survive.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents; Gerald and Joan Klika, father- and mother-in-law; James and Dolores Vandehei, sister; Julie Johnson, brother; Joseph Klika, sister-in-law; Janet Klika; brother-in-law; Ron Vandehei, and nephew; Eric Englebert.

A private, family memorial service was held. A Celebration of Life will take place for Rick at Chambers Hill Bar and Grill, 12350 Velp Ave, Green Bay, WI 54313, on Sunday, July 26, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continuing throughout the day.
