Richard "Dick" Roffers Sr., 81 of Wrightstown, formerly of De Pere passed away on Thursday evening November 25, 2010. He was born July 12, 1929 in De Pere to the late Alfred and Margaret (Peeters) Roffers. On August 26, 1950 he married Ruth Brettner in Washington State. Dick was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Fort Howard Paper Co. Dick and his wife started R&R Homestead Hot Fudge Topping in 1981. Dick is survived by his wife of 60 years Ruth, his children; Richard (Dianne) Roffers Jr., Susan (Steve) Peters, Lorna (Jim) Roffers, Tom (Jean) Roffers, and Timothy (Tina) Roffers. He is further survived by 17 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, his sister Darlene (Roffers) Peeters as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Jerry (Ruth) Roffers and a brother in law Richard (Dorothy) Brettner. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere after 12noon on Monday November 29, 2010 until time of service at 4pm. Burial will take place in Lawrence Cemetery.
