Richard John Louis "Elmo" Rowell Jr., 37, Bonduel, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 22, 2021. The son of Richard Rowell Sr. and Penny (Devroy) Rowell was born on June 22, 1983. Rick was a people person, and always there to help others in need. He had many jobs throughout the years, most recently with Paul's Pantry in Green Bay. He loved anything and everything outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, but loved family the most. He is survived by his parents, Richard Sr. (Kelly) and Penny; children, Alma and Richard III; step-daughter Norah; sisters Tara (Rick) Gomske, Melissa (Roberto) Mendoza De Jesus, Elizabeth (Amadeo) Ortiz Ramos, Jennifer Rowell; step-siblings, Derrick Powers, Jodie Podobnik and Cory Podobnik. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other extended family. Rick was preceded in death by his fiancé, Jasmine Jakubiec; niece Paulina; his grandparents and other members of his extended family. Family and friends may visit at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, 2021. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 1:00 p.m. The family would like to extend special thanks to Elmo's many close friends for their love over the years.
