Obituary

Richard Lee Swamp, 68, Oneida, passed away Monday afternoon, February 23, 2026. He was born on January 28, 1958, to Karen Skenandore and the late Clarence Swamp.

Formerly married with two Children.

A huge sports fan, Rick shot pool and played softball in his younger days. An avid Packers, Bucks, and Brewers fan, he enjoyed spending time with his dad Clarence and watching the games together. Lately he took part in Fantasy Football Leagues and won the championship many times.

Rick and his mother Karen lived together for many years, and they had a special bond.

A private person by nature, Rick is remembered for his sense of humor and his great smile. He was the life of the party.

While living in Milwaukee, he was employed for 17 years at Stroh Die Casting, before relocating to Oneida, and working for the casino for many years, retiring as a Floor Supervisor for table games.

He is survived by his children, Kelly Jo (Willard) Johnson, and Erik (Angela) Swamp. Grandchildren; Dakota, Marissa, Willard Jr., Devin, Kaleigh, Koty, Jonas, Sofia, and Madelyn. Great grandchildren; Kayson and Aria. His mother Karen Skenandore, and siblings; David (Judi) Swamp, Brian (Chely) Swamp, Craig (Peggy) Skenandore, Julie Mehojah, Kathy (Pete) Young, Reggie (Paula) Skenandore, Tammy Skenandore, Tim Skenandore, DeeDee Skenandore and Tina Skenandore.

He was preceded in death by his father Clarence, stepfather Reginald Skenandore, his brother Gregory Swamp, infant sister Karen, as well as other close family.

Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00PM Thursday, March 5, 2026, until time of service at 6:00PM.

The family would like to thank the staff at Anna John Resident Centered Care Community who cared for Richard.
