Euretha "Rita" Forst, 84, Green Bay, passed away at home surrounded by family on June 13, 2017. The daughter of the late Harold and Erma (Pahl) Conard was born on October 22, 1932. Rita was a lifelong resident of the Green Bay area. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, baking, painting, quilting and many other things, all while raising her seven children. She crocheted a blanket every time one of her grandchildren were born. Rita married Joseph Forst at St. John's Lutheran in De Pere in 1965. They enjoyed bowling and golfing together. Rita is survived by her children, Sandra Zellner, Karen (Paul) Boyer, Debra Kobs (Ed Kottke), Beverly (Brian) Maloney, Kathy (Mark) Herrick, Vicki (Larry) Groshens and Tony Forst. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Sarah (Shane) Haberland, Amy Zellner, Ryan, Courtney and Rory Campbell, Carrie Mier, Brandon Kobs, Maxwell Herrick, Philip and Ethan Groshens, and Emilee and Hunter Forst, and even further survived by four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Erma, husband, Joe, brother, Warren "Chum," and Eddy "Pop" Jason. Family and friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, from 1:00 to 3:00 on Saturday, June 17, 2017. A short prayer will close the visitation at 3:00. Entombment will follow at Allouez Mausoleum. The family would like to extend a special thank you to mom's caregivers, especially Debbie, Edith, Jean and Carol, and Unity Hospice for their care in mom's final days.
