Rita B. Meissner, 76, Green Bay, Passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023. She was born September 1, 1946, to the late Kenneth and Elaine (Archambault) Meissner. Rita had been married to Jerald "Butch" Kowalski and Robert "Bob" Miller.
A giving person by nature, Rita had a servant's heart, which she showed in so many ways. No one was ever turned away or not given a helping hand by Rita, she saw the good in everyone. She was kind and thoughtful with a special grace. She enjoyed cooking, and experiencing the outdoors through gardening, hunting, fishing, and camping with her family.
Rita is survived by her children; Rick Kowalski, Ryan (Stacy Bohnart) Kowalski, Kelly (Tom) Decker, and Kurt Kowalski. Her grandchildren; Hayley (Canary Dexter) Minor, David Decker, Ava Kowalski, and Grace Decker. Stepchildren, Wesley Miller, Lisa Miller, Connie Miller, and Ed Miller. Great Grandchildren; Zaydah Dixon, Grayson Minor, Amora Dexter, and Quincee Dexter. Rita is further survived by her siblings; Bruce (Terry) Meissner, Linda (Del) Benter, Tina Meissner, Nina (Pat) McCarthy, and Gina Mae Lambeau, as well as 44 nieces & nephews.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Deanna Chapleski, and Nona Meissner, her brother Jeff Meissner, and brothers -in-law; Mike Busse and Steve Lambeau.
Family at friends can join in celebrating Rita's life on Sunday, July 2, 2023, from 2:00PM – 6:00PM at Los Banditos 2335 W. Mason Street, Green Bay. A short service will take place at 5:00PM.
