Robert (Bob, Bobby) C. Baugnet, 75, died July 16th, 2020 in Little Rock VA Hospital in Arkansas. He was born January 10th, 1945 to the late John and Mildred (Delmot) Baugnet. He graduated from East De Pere High School class of '63. Bob joined the U.S Army in December of 1964, went through basic training and Air Bourne Jump School in Fort Benning, GA. He moved on to Fort Bragg, NC and trained as special forces and became a Green Beret. He was then stationed in Okinawa, Japan as a Green Beret and a Drill Sargent. The men he trained rotated in and out of Vietnam on one year tours as individual replacements to the special forces team popularly known as the A-Teams. He later returned state-side and continued training Green Beret teams in Fort Knox, KY. He was honorable discharged in December of 1967. He married Fran (Paider) Baugnet on July 15, 1967 and moved to Crossett Ark and became a converting mechanic in G.P. Paper Mill later to divorce in '78. He remarried February 9th, 1979 to Carolyn (Pennington) Baugnet to whom they spent 41 years together. He enjoyed Bass fishing, wood working, and being with his family. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren play at the ball games and hunting with them at Bluff Trails Deer Camp. Robert is preceded in death by one infant son, Robert Clint Baugnet, parents John and Mildred Baugnet, father and mother-in-law Marion and Bernice Pennington. He is survived and is dearly missed by Carolyn L. Baugnet (Crossett Ark), his children Richard(Michelle) Baugnet, Midwest City, OK, Bradley(Jennifer) Baugnet, Denmark, WI, Dawn and special friend Todd Horn, Mountain, WI, his stepchildren, Deon(Mike) Nelson, Amarillo, TX, Carmon(Mark) Courson, Crossett Ark, and Dana(Todd) Musgrove, Bastrop, LA, his grandchildren, Amber and Kyle Baugnet, Evelyn and William Baugnet, his step grandchildren, Briana Rodgers, Kaylee Jones, Jamerson Jones, Bethany Stewart, Laighton Jones, Garrett Courson, Griffen Courson, his step great grandchildren, Talan Mercer, Zion Deal, Jonah Stewart, and Rett Rodgers, his siblings, Steve(Diane) Baugnet, Tom(Jill) Baugnet, and his brothers-in-law John(Corky) Pennington and Danny(Theresa) Pennington.
