Robert "Bob" Borman, of De Pere, died Monday afternoon August 3, 2015 at a local hospital. The son of the late Howard and Beatrice (De Ruyter) Borman was born in Green Bay on May 6, 1937. He married the love of his life, Linda De Groot in Green Bay on April 18, 1986. Bob worked at Nicolet Paper Company for 41 years. Bob had a passion for sports and coaching. He coached football and softball for many years. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage with his family and friends on the lake. Bob had a terrific sense of humor, a heart of gold and was deeply loved by many. Survivors include his wife, Linda, one daughter, Jennifer and Nicholas Potts, seven grandchildren, Tyler, Christopher, Zachary, Molly, Ryan, Madisyn, Leah, one brother, Dave (Mary) Borman, in addition to Linda's family, Jim (Darlene) , Len (Marj), Lee (Lynda), Kathy (Fred), Al (Marilyn), Barb (Don), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Bob was preceded in death by parents, his daughters, Barb and Michelle, son-in-law, Pete Lingl, aunts and uncles. Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday August 6, 2015. Visitation will continue after 9:00 am on Friday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Green Bay, until time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday at the church with Father Mark Vander Steeg, officiating. Entombment in Allouez Mausoleum.
