Robert "Bob" Hempel, 88, De Pere, passed away peacefully Friday morning, August 3, 2018. He was born September 23, 1929 to the late Frank and Alvina Hempel. Bob served in the U.S. Army. On June 6, 1953 he married Phyllis Moore. In 1957 he and Phyllis moved to Green Bay. Throughout their life together, they established loyal and lifelong friendships with neighbors and business associates. Bob worked as a sales Rep in the Food Brokerage Industry. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and especially the time on his pontoon boat on the lake. He is survived by his children; Linda (Sue Wilson) Hempel, Nancy (Brian) Campbell, Mike (Jill) Hempel, and his four grandchildren; Katelyn, Kelsey, Stephanie, and Cassidy. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis and son Thomas. Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N.
