Robert "Bob" Hibbard, 76, of Wrightstown, died Wednesday November 2, 2016 at home after a battle with cancer. The son of the late Stanley and Edna (Coon) was born December 8, 1939 in Green Bay. He was a graduate of Wrightstown High School. On June 24, 1960 he married Rose Marie Haen at St. Mary Church in Greenleaf.
The center of Bob's life was his family. He was known as a compassionate, fun-loving husband, dad, and grandpa. He loved to socialize and tinker in his garage making things from wood. Bob worked on the farm in Rockland and was a member of the 4-H Club. He was in the trucking business for many years and later worked at Woodlawn Cemetery in Green Bay. He enjoyed music and played in area polka bands .
Survivors include his wife, four children, Michael (Wanda Jo) Hibbard, Patrick (Tina) Hibbard, Christine Daul and Tracy Kopetsky, eight grandchildren, Brandi, Faith, Zachary, Abrielle, Samantha, Alexandrea, Nathaniel and Benjamin, brother, Dennis, sisters, Bonnie (Tom) Hanaway, and Kate Lynn (Kathy) Hibbard (Jan Arleth). Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one son-in-law, Dennis "Sid" Daul, George and Marcella Haen, Dale and Evelyn Christopher and Frank Scheuer.
Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Sunday November 6, 2016. Prayer service will be held at 1:30 pm. Visitation will continue at St. Claire Catholic Church, Wrightstown site, from 10:00 to 11:00 am Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday at the church with Father Bob Kabat and Deacon Ken Kabat, officiating.
