Robert Wynne "Bob" McFarlane, 92, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018. The son of the late Wynne and Alice (Kitzerow) McFarlane was born on May 18, 1926 in Columbus, WI. On September 7, 1946 he married Margery Sumnicht in Columbus. Bob loved golf, travel and spending time with friends and family. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his children, Gary (Kathie) McFarlane, Dick (Karen) McFarlane, Sue (Bart) Collins, five grandchildren, Maureen (Juan) Silveyra, Jolene (Alexander) Kroboth, Molly (Mike) Stonesifer, Melissa Collins, Mitchell McFarlane, as well as nine great-grandchildren. Margery preceded Bob in death on June 27, 2013. He was further preceded by his parents, Wynne and Alice, as well as his brother Gerald. Family and friends may call at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1110 Echo Lane, Green Bay, beginning at 9:00 AM on Saturday, July 21, 2018. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Robb McClintock officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at Woodside Manor for the great love and care they have shown Dad over the past two years. He always said "I came to the right place." The family would also like to thank Unity Hospice for their wonderful compassion and care.
