Robert W. Olp age 85 passed away on Monday August 12th at Theda Care Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Potter WI on September 1st, 1938, to Norman and Dorothy (Ross) Olp.

Robert grew up in Brillion WI where was active in basketball and football. After school he joined the U.S. Marine Corps stationed at Camp Pendleton, California. His journey after leaving the Marine Corps took him to many places and careers, and then home to his family.

Robert never met a person that did not become a friend.

He is survived by his sisters Caryl Zirbel, Sandie Herwig (Lloyd) Sue Ann Hougard (Tom), two daughters Maria Mullowney and Anita Olp, best friend Karen Lawrence, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Allen Zirbel.

Family would like to thank the staff and residents at the Landings for the friendship they shared. We would also like to thank St. Croix and Theda Care Hospice for the wonderful care he received.

As per Roberts wishes there will be no service.
