Robert "Bob" V. Parson, Sr., 73, of Howard, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at home surrounded by his loving family after a 4 year battle with cancer. The son of the late Einar and Delores (Scott) Parson, Bob was born January 11, 1941 in Aurora, IL. On July 16, 1977, Bob married Marilyn Majeski at St. Boniface Church in De Pere. Bob enjoyed his travels as a truck driver with Keith going across the country where they would meet new people. Bob and Marilyn made many special memories together including travelling to Jamaica and Cancun. He treasured his time with his family and friends. Bob was proud of his children and their accomplishments. He especially loved camping, fishing, and morning coffee with Dan and Nancy. He had a great sense of humor and was always the life of any party. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; their children: Cyndee Dalton and her children, Cassandra and Peter; Robert (Kimberly) Parson, Jr. and their son Michael; Jenny (Sean) Shilts and their children Kaylee, Dayton, Brayden and Blake; Jeremy Parson and his daughter, Ellie; Diane's children Jessica, Jennifer and Josh. Bob is also survived by his siblings, Pauline Licht, Bill Parson, Jim Parson, 7 great grandchildren, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Darlene (Tom) Sikorski, Mike (Terri) Majeski, Linda (Jim) Spychalski, numerous nieces and nephews, and his dog Buddy. In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his daughter, Diane May; his father and mother in-law, Lucien and Frances Majeski. Family and friends may visit from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere.
