Roderick Luther Sommers, 61, passed away peacefully at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay, Wi, on August, 16, 2024 of cancer with family and friends by his side. He was born in Green Bay, WI, on December 18, 1962 to Roger Sommers and Audrey Besaw.

Rod played football and basketball for Pulaski High School, graduating in 1981, before joining the Marines. He was an avid fisherman all his life and loved his time on the water with friends and family.

Rod is survived by his children: Raquel Jousma, Ramsey Jousma, Levi Schultz, and Electa Sommers. He is also survived by his sisters: Rose (John) Mortenson and Brenda Besaw, his grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Crystal Moes, his father Roger Sommers, his mother Audrey Besaw, his brother Russell Besaw, and his niece Xavionna Besaw.

Family and Friends may call at Pamperin Park from 3-7 on September 14, 2024 where we will gather for a Celebration of Life.
