Ron Martin, 57 years old, born August 30, 1959, son of Frank and Dorothy (Erickson) Martin passed away June 26 as a result of injuries from a motorcycle accident. Ron was a strong man with a big heart and a generous and kind spirit. He was willing to help anyone at any time. He was a favorite Uncle Ronnie to his nieces and nephews and made them all feel special. He was employed at Shopko Corporate Office for 39 years where he made life long friendships. Everyone knew Ron at the office. Ron enjoyed hunting, Packers and riding his Harley during his free time. He is survived by his brothers and sisters Mike (Barb), Darlene (Joe) Simoens, Pat (Sue), Dorothy (Bruce) Wolf, Donna (John) Herber, Frank (Barb), Denis (Nancy), Debbie (Tim) Danen, Diane (Joe) Lawler, John (Julie), Doris (Curt) Dieleman, sister-in-law Joy Martin, Godson Trevor Martin. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins. and the farm dog, Buckus. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Martin and his brother, Paul Martin. If you judge a man by his friends and family, Ron was a very rich man. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his Shopko family.
