Ronald "Reggie" Backmann, age 74, of Ashwaubenon passed away peacefully on Thursday evening August 7, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was born October 25, 1939 in Chicago, to the late Chester and Gladys Backmann. On November 24, 1972 he was united in marriage to Lois DeVos. Reggie had worked for A.C. Nielsen Co. for over 37 years. Ronald loved to play cribbage, golf, and was especially proud of his hole-in-one. He could often be found on Friday evenings meeting up with his golf and cribbage buddies at the Stadium View. Ronald also enjoyed traveling, especially during the winter months. He is survived by his wife Lois, four children; Victoria (John) Flowers, Ron (Julie) Backmann, Joseph (Christine) Backmann, and Matthew (Brandi) Backmann. His grandchildren; Billy, Megan, Daniel, Joseph, Johnny, Caitlin, Jack, Joshua, Mary, Molly, Dominik, and Natalie. Ron's in-laws Pete and Evie DeVos also survive, as well as friends Schermy, Tony, Bill, Al, Steve, Don, and Baron and the rest of the Friday night crew.
