Ronald F. Landwehr, 75, De Pere, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015. He was born April 12, 1940, a son of the late Leonard and Petronella (Vander Zanden) Landwehr. On July 7, 1962 he married the former Rosemary Taubel. Ron was proud to serve in the U.S. Navy.
Ron was great handyman being known as Mr. Tool because he always had the tool you needed. He took great pride in his lawn making it as perfect as possible. He also enjoyed his winters in Arizona and golfing.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 52 years Rosemary Landwehr; daughters: Cynthia (Mike) Trainor, Manitowoc and their son Matthew Trainor, Jane (James) Kim, Frisco, TX and their children Parker and Alex Kim, Patti (fianc James James) Poquette, Combined Locks and her daughter Lindsay Poquette, and Peggy Kossel, Lebanon, OH, and her daughter Haely Kossel; sisters: Dorothy Leisgang, Betty (Gerald) Wolff, and Kathleen Jameson; brothers: Leonard (Vi) Landwehr, Jr, and Richard (Karen) Landwehr; brother-in-law Allen (Elaine) Lamers; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Carol Lamers; son-in-law Mark Kossel; brother-in-law Gerald Leisgang.
A celebration of Ron's life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Kerrigan Brothers Winery, Hwy 55, Freedom, WI. Inurnment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded to him. Please visit www.ryanfh.com to send a condolence to Ron's family.
