Ronald Ray Skenandore, Jr., passed away unexpectedly Sunday May 22, 2011 in Green Bay, WI. He was born to Ronald Ray Skenandore, Sr. and Josephine (Cornelius) Skenandore on October 25, 1970 in Milwaukee, WI. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to the Oneida area, where Ronnie Ray attended school, graduating from West De Pere High School in 1988.
Ronnie Ray had been an over the road trucker for the past twenty years and was a team driver with his father. He made many friends around the country with his easy going nature. He always had a smile, and was a very giving person who put others ahead of himself.
He had a passion for fast cars and was an avid racing fan, especially NASCAR. In addition to racing, Ronnie Ray loved all sports. He loved his family very much and was at his happiest when he could spend time with his nieces and nephews. They were always excited to see their "Uncle Ron".
Ronnie Ray is survived by his father, Ronald Ray Skenandore, Sr., of Las Vegas, and his mother, Josie ( Tom ) Daebler, De Pere, his paternal grandmother, Phyl Skenandore, De Pere, one brother, Mitchel Ryan (Jodi) Skenandore, Oneida, one sister, Kelli Rae (Jason) Widi, De Pere, special uncles Dan Skenandore and Kerry (Judy) Skenandore. He is leaving behind special friends Cheryle Schommer, Bob Serama, and Bill and Jennifer Skenandore. Additional uncles and aunts are Harry Corneilius, Frank (Nancy) Cornelius, Leonard (Yvonne) Cornelius, Clarence (Sandy) Corneliu, Ben (Gerri) Cornelius and Eleanor Bailey, nieces, Kristia, Rylee, Mia and Kendall and nephews, Clayton, Dylan, and Kaiden as well as many cousins. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Norris "Skinny" Skenandore, and maternal grandparents Anderson W. and Lillian Cornelius.
Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday May 25, 2011. Parish prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue after 9:00 am Thursday at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church, Freedom Road, Oneida, until time of service. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Thursday at the church with Father Robert Clarke, officiating, assisted by Deacon Deborah Heckel.
