IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rosalia Calliope Guadalupe
Shiner
December 12, 2023 – January 21, 2024
Rosalia Calliope Guadalupe Shiner, 40 days old, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Sunday January 21, 2024. She was born in Green Bay on December 12, 2023, to Brody and Cecilia (Ellis) Shiner.
Our sweet Rosie was a source of pure joy and love in the lives of her parents, siblings, and every life she entered. Rosie lit up our world with her innocent smile and gentle presence. Her personality was such a beautiful thing to witness, growing more unique each day she was with us. She loved cuddling and had a seemingly insatiable appetite, at her mama's breast was among her favorite places to be. Rosie loved listening to her daddy's voice and laying by the Christmas tree to watch the twinkling lights. She had many adorable facial expressions, and her big inquisitive eyes earned her the loving nickname "our little froggy girl." Rosie loved being carried in a wrap, and she hated being in her bouncer. She had recently begun to recognize and acknowledge the presence of her twin brother, and she loved touching his face and waking him up when we laid them beside each other to nap. She rarely took a pacifier silently, she had to let us know her displeasure that no milk came out. Rosie wasn't a fan of car rides, and she was impossible to keep swaddled at bedtime. She was perfect in every single way. She and her twin brother Severus were baptized on Christmas Eve, just 27 days before our beautiful daughter would join the Communion of Saints in Heaven.
Rosalia will be greatly missed by her parents, Brody and Cecilia Shiner, as well as her older brother Nicodemus and twin brother Severus.
