Rose Ferris of Venice, FL passed away Monday December 14, 2009 while under the care of hospice after going into cardiac arrest in early November. Rose was born on July 15, 1950 to the late Stephen and Doris Zacharek in Green Bay. She was an avid golfer, enjoying every moment spent outside. Rose also enjoyed photography and scrapbooking for her children, capturing every precious moment of her life and those around her in a picture. Rose had many close friends, touching the hearts of everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her 2 granddaughters. Rose was loved by many for her upbeat attitude, care and compassion for all around her. Rose worked at Associated Bank for over 25 years until she retired in 1998 at which time she moved to Florida. Survivors include her two daughters Holly (Dwayne) and Tammy (Tony) her two granddaughters, Sophia and Gabrielle and her boyfriend, Gary Mitchell. Rose is further survived by her aunt and many cousins. Rose was preceded in death by her late husband Elwin Ferris, her ex-husband of 27 years, Fred Martin, and her parents. She will be missed by many, but will be welcomed into heaven by her loved ones. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere from 9am 12pm Saturday, December 19, 2009.
