May 1, 1940 – January 2, 2023
Rose Mary Fuss, De Pere, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023, with her children, sister Katie and niece Dottie by her side. She was born May 1, 1940, in Des Moines, Iowa to the late Earl and Dorothy (Harrison) Gegare.
Rose Mary married Joseph Fuss on October 14, 1961, in Green Bay. She had worked for Diana Manufacturing for 6 years and then Rennes Health Center for 16 years until her retirement.
Rose Mary liked to go up north to Lakewood and play bingo with her sister Katie. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lynn & Dale "Peewee" Metoxen, three sons and her daughters-in-law Rick (Lynn) Fuss, Jim (Susan) Fuss, and Bob (special friend Colleen) Fuss. Her two special grandchildren, Alecia (Nick) Van Lanen and Bryan (Meghan) Fuss, along with Dale's children Josey, Jerome, Jermaine, Bradley, Brandon, and Colleen's son Hunter. Great grandchildren: Braydon, and Callie Van Lanen and another great grandchild due in March.
Rose Mary is further survived by a sister Katie (Larry) LaPierre, brother Roger (Mary) Gegare and brother-in-law Raymond Williquette, along with the Fuss family: two sisters-in-law, Beverly (Dick) Hendricks, Shirley (Jerry) Jordan, brothers-in-law Dennis (Pam Cottrell) Fuss, Gordy (Connie) Fuss, and Stan Mendolla. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended further survive her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her parents, father and mother-in-law, Arthur (Ida) Fuss, sisters, Betty Williquette, and Carol Gegare, along with her brother-in-law Pat Fuss and sister-in-law Betty Mendolla.
Her special bond with Aunt Katie and Uncle Larry along with Aunt Bev were so very special, thank you for all you did.
Friends may call after 9:00AM on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, N5589 Cty Rd E, De Pere, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM with Fr. Paul Paider officiating.
