Our beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, Rose Marie Hibbard, 85, passed away on November 6, 2023. Rose Marie was born on January 20, 1938, to George and Marcella Haen. She graduated from St. Mary's Grade school, East De Pere High School and furthered her education at the University of Oshkosh with a bachelors in elementary education.

Rose Marie married Robert Hibbard on June 24, 1961, and together they raised 4 children.

Rose Marie touched many young people's lives through her many years of teaching and 4-H work. She worked for St. Vincent Hospital childcare center and Wee Be Kidzs child care. She taught in Appleton, Wrightstown, and Greenleaf. She also taught at NWTC teaching students to be good infant care providers.

Rose Marie is survived by her children Michael (Wanda), Patrick (Tina), Christine (Dennis) Daul and Tracy Kopetsky, her eight grandchildren Brandi, Faith (Brittany), Samantha (Mitch), Alexandrea, Zachary, Abrielle, Nathaniel, Benjamin, as well as other family and friends. Rose Marie is further survived by her sister Elizabeth Pinkert, sisters-in-law, Kate (Jan) Hibbard and Bonnie Hanaway, and brothers-in-law Vernon Christopherson and Dennis Hibbard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, sisters, Evelyn and husband Dale Christopher, Mary Agnes and husband Frank Scheuer, Dorothy Christopherson, brother George and wife Karen Haen, brother-in-law Tom Hanaway and son-in-law Dennis Daul.

Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street in De Pere on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 3:00 PM – 6:00PM. A prayer service will be held immediately following the visitation with Father Bob Kabat officiating.
