Rosella "Rody" Conard, Green Bay, died peacefully Thursday evening, December 11, 2025, at Residence by Rennes Memory Care in De Pere, WI. Rody was born October 24, 1937, in De Pere to the late Peter and Jeanette Gerrits.
She was united in marriage to Leland "Lee" Conard on May 17, 1958, and celebrated 59 years of marriage. Rody spent a vast majority of her working career as a professional wallpaper installer for many local families, home builders and luxury boat builders throughout Wisconsin. She was well known as "one tough lady" on the job sites but with the heart of an angel.
Rody was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish in Ashwaubenon as well as the Green Bay Moose Lodge #801. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, visiting with friends and tending to her beautiful floral gardens. She also enjoyed evenings out visiting many Wisconsin Supper Clubs and spending time with family and life-long friends at their cottage at Kelly Lake. Rody and Lee spent many winters in Florida with friends.
Rody is survived by her three children, Gary (Tammie) Conard, Larry (Rita) Conard, and Lisa (Troy) Bauer; seven grandchildren, Alyssa Conard, Travis (Michelle) Conard, Eric (Nina) Conard, Alex Conard, Brianna (Justin) McConnell, Tara (Paul) Collins and Angela (Kurt) Becker; 9 great-grandchildren, Paige and Owen Chambers, Secora, Stella, Sofia and Duke Collins, Lynsi Conard. Henry and Ellie Conard, many special nephews, nieces and her very dear pet dog, Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lee, daughter, Debbie Conard; sister Audrey Manders, brothers Clarence "Whitey" Gerrits, Lloyd Gerrits , Bob Gerrits, Ken Gerrits and Donald Gerrits.
Visitation will take place at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S. Oneida St. Green Bay, WI, from 9:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am on Friday, December 19, 2025, with Fr. Matt Simonar presiding. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be set up in her name supporting Residence by Rennes Memory Care. Please go to www.ryanfh.com to send condolences to the family online.
