Rosemary A. Landwehr, 79, De Pere, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022. She was born June 25, 1942, a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Carpenter) Taubel. On July 7, 1962, she married the love of her life Ronald Landwehr, who has proceeded her in passing.
Rosemary had an eye for design and style which was evident not only by the home she kept but also in the elaborate birthday and wedding cakes she decorated for others. She was a talented seamstress for many years, making beautiful custom drapery for her brother in-law & sister in-law's business. Rosemary loved spending her winters in Arizona with Ron where they had many friends.
Rosemary is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Mike) Trainor of Manitowoc, WI and their son: Matthew (fiancé Lauren); Jane (James) Kim of Plano, TX and their children: Parker (Zoe) and Alex; Patti (James) James of Combined Locks, WI and her daughter: Linzi; Peggy Kossel (Kurt LaForest), North Carolina and her daughter Haely; brothers, Rodney (Sandy) Taubel, Waukesha and David (Dorothy) Taubel of Seymour, WI; sisters-in-law, Betty (Gerald) Wolff, Kathleen Jameson and Leone Taubel, brothers-in-law, Leonard (Vi) Landwehr, Jr., Richard (Karin) Landwehr and Allen (Jeanne) Lamers.
In addition to her husband and her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her siblings, Raymond Taubel and Viola (Harold) Nesheck; son-in-law, Mark Kossel; siblings-in-law, Carol Lamers, Elaine Lamers, Dorothy Leisgang and Gerald Leisgang.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rennes De Pere and Unity Hospice, especially Gail and Sheila, for their kind and loving care over the years. A celebration of Rosemary's life will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm at Draft Gastropub 664 W Ridgeview Drive, Appleton. Inurnment will be in Mt Calvary Cemetery, De Pere.
