Rosetta "Rose" Marie Skenandore, 73, of Oneida, passed away October 8, 2014. She was born in Oneida on July 15, 1941 to the late Joslin and Hazel (Doxtator) Skenandore. Rose enjoyed the outdoors, specifically camping and fishing, as well as reading, bingo, and country music. Rose was known for her kindness, and would always greet people with a smile. She is survived by her children, Theresa Skenandore, Beatrice Skenandore, Joslin Skenandore Jr. and Sue (Harvey) Melchert; step-son, James Green; grandchildren Roxanne Cornelius, Lorraine (Adrian) Frias, Wendy Cornelius, Morningstar Cornelius, Lacy Moore, Crystal Moore, Wendel Cornelius III, Joslin Skenandore III, Shane Skenandore, Mariah Melchert, Marisa Melchert; eight step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and brother, Patrick (Lorraine) Skenandore. Rose is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-son, Robert Green Jr.; two sisters, Margaret and Beatrice, as well as a brother, Lawrence. Friends and family are encouraged to gather at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, on Monday, October 13, 2014 beginning at 6:00pm. The Oneida Hymnal Singers will be performing at 6:30pm, followed by a prayer service at 7:00pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at Oneida United Methodist Church, N6037 County Road E, Oneida, WI after 9:00am. A funeral service will be held at the church at 11:00am with Pastor Candace Ascher. Burial in Oneida Methodist Cemetery.
