Russell P. Bowser, 77, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018. He was born December 21, 1940 in Florence, WI, a son of the late Floyd and Annabell (Plumley) Bowser. On October 21, 1978 Russell married Maureen Naughton at Oneida United Methodist Church. Russell also served his country with the U.S. Army serving for 3 years.
Russell worked for Mirro before working for the Bay West Paper Company for 24 years and most recently had worked for the Oneida Tribe as a driver. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing bingo, watching the Brewers and Packers games, and collecting die cast cars.
Russell is survived by his children: Brian Bowser and Karen Ninham, Christopher Bowser, and Jason Bowser; Maureen's children: Rena Metoxen, Pat (Lori) Metoxen, Mike (Kathy) Metoxen, Maureen Metoxen, Colleen (Scott) Cottrell, Kathy Metoxen, and Shannon Metoxen; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brothers: Floyd Bowser, Jr, and Kenny Bowser; sisters-in-law Norma Bowser and Karen Spindler; and many nieces, nephews and other family. He was preceded in death by his wife Maureen; parents Floyd and Annabell; brothers Arthur, Billie, Earl, and Keith; sister-in-law Maxine Bowser; and grandson Andrew Bowser and Erwin Cottrell.
Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev.
