Russell Edward Fairthorne, Age 75, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025.

He was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on February 25, 1950, to Thomas Joseph Fairthorne and Josephine Ann Nocera.

Russell graduated from Freehold High School in New Jersey. He continued his education obtaining his Bachelors in Social Work at the University of Green Bay, Wisconsin. He then went on to get his Master's in Psychology at the University of Madison. He loved working with the kids in Social Work and helping couples utilizing his psychology degree. He was very proud of all the work and effort he put in helping others.

Russell was a free spirit who enjoyed his life as a hippie and had some great stories to tell about his travels hitchhiking and riding his motorcycle. He took pride in his life and experiences. Russell was proud of all his accomplishments, but nothing compared to becoming the owner/operator/teacher of his own music business "Door County Music Co.". Russell's real true love was music, and it brought him so much happiness. He loved to teach guitar and music to people of all ages. Russell was very proud of his own music and the release of his CD "Emery Thorne". He will be greatly missed.

Russell is survived by Daughter Rebecca L. Gardner (Fairthorne) of Green Bay, WI. Son Joshua Fairthorne of Appleton, WI. Daughter Sarah Fairthorne of St. Joseph, MI

Grandchildren: Tiarre Prevost (Joseph), Rahnin JoyceAnn Wright

Great Grand Children: Jaxn Prevost, Reygan Prevost, and Elora Mae Prevost.

Siblings: Donald Fairthorne, Arthur Fairthorne, Tommy Fairthorne, Debra Parks, and Rita Fairthorne-Budai.

He was preceded in death both of his parents Thomas and Josephine as well as his sister Michelle Fairthorne.

The Family will be having private services and celebration of life.
