Ruth D. Bentley, 93, De Pere, passed away peacefully Monday evening, June 3, 2024.She was born December 24, 1931, to the late Harry and Vera (Gilroy) Tennyson.

She was united in marriage to William R. Bentley, and he preceded her in death.

Ruth loved to garden, and then can the bounty of vegetables she grew. The time with her family gave her the most joy.

She is survived by her daughter Judy Melotte, granddaughter Becci Kenyon, grandson Steve (Kristy Jordan) Kenyon, and a nephew Jim (Laurie) Bradley. Her sister Eva Johnson, and her brother Roland Tennyson as well as other relatives and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Willian R., their son William T., and son-in-law Adolph Melotte.

Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, from 1:00PM Sunday, June 9th, until time of service at 3:00PM. The family requests no flowers or plants please, a memorial fund will be established.
