Ruth May (Blackburn) Linders, 87 of De Pere, WI passed away Wednesday evening, October 16, 2024. She was born May 24, 1937, in Tustin, WI, the daughter of Ernest and Rose Blackburn.

Ruth married Delmar "Del" F. Linders on September 4, 1954, at St. Boniface Church in De Pere. They lived and worked in the De Pere and Green Bay area. Ruth worked at St. Vincent Hospital, Hickory Grove Sanitorium, and several restaurants. Ruth's passion was caring for the sick and elderly. They moved to Florida in 1990 where she continued to care for elderly people. She and Del also spent many hours volunteering at the local thrift shop. Del passed away in 2012 which prompted Ruth to move back to De Pere, WI to be near family and friends in the area.

She is survived by her four children: Judy Endow, McFarland, WI, Nancy Pamperin, Green Bay, WI, Thomas Linders, Manitowoc, WI, and Timothy Linders, De Pere, WI (Partner Linda Gossens and her daughter Ashley (Login) Huebner, granddaughter Madilynn Huebner, and Stephanie (Cole) Stilen).

Ruth is also survived by five grandchildren: David (Heather) Endow, San Diego, CA, Paul (Laura) Endow, Wausau, WI, Daniel Endow, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Jacob Pamperin, Green Bay, WI, and Scott Linders (deceased) and three great-grandchildren: Niko, Evelyn, and Jensen Endow.

Ruth came from a big family and is survived by Robert Blackburn, Oxford, WI, Dorothy Johnson, De Pere, WI, and Darlene Olsen, Omro, WI, and sister-in-law Liz Blackburn, Winter Haven, FL. along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Del, grandson Scott Linders, and several brothers and sisters: Virginia (Harold) Schruch, Margaret (Bert) Arthurs, Mildred Blackburn, Glen (Eunice) Blackburn, Norman (Lillian) Blackburn, Donald Blackburn, Lester (Lucille) Blackburn, Alvin (Kathy) Blackburn, Ervin Blackburn, and Genevieve (Henry) Helke, along with sister-in-law Donna Blackburn, and brother-in-law Lawrence Olsen.

Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00PM – 7:00PM Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Visitation will continue Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 1305 Lourdes Ave., De Pere from 11:00AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00PM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating, followed by a lunch.
