Sandra Lee (Dantoin) Murphy, 77, De Pere, passed away at home, surrounded by family on Thursday evening, January 28, 2021. The daughter of Xavier and Adeline (Schmechel) Dantoin was born on January 21, 1944. On April 29, 1967, Sandra married George "Gary" Murphy Jr. at St. John Lutheran Church in De Pere. They met when she was 15, Gary was driving around in his 1950 Ford and she caught his eye. Together, they raised three children: Trevor, Racquel and Cameron. Sandra loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, and her many dogs over the years, most recently her dog Snuggles. She loved the Packers and was yelling at them last Sunday. She is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Racquel and Cameron (Nicole Wirth and daughter Kylie); daughter-in-law, Bobbi Jo; grandchildren, Dalton (Elizabeth), Emily (significant other Jordan Tolsch), Kendra and Paige (fiancé Andy Fleischman and son Conner); great-grandchilden, Madalynn, Trevor-John, Maverick and Charlotte. She is further survived by her siblings Nancy Clapper and Dennis (Mary Sue) Dantoin; siblings-in-law Sharelle Kelsey, Steve Murphy and Mary Jo (Mike) Chambers, as well as other extended family members. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; son Trevor; three brothers, Kenny, Jerry and Donny; siblings-in-law and other extended family. Family and friends may visit at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, 2021. A prayer service will close the visitation at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Cindy Warmbier-Meyer officiating. Proper health guidelines will be followed. The family would like to thank Unity Hospice for going above and beyond in their care for Sandra in the last month and a half.
