Sandra Mae Metoxen Rivera, 79 of Chicago, Il left on her journey home on May 13, 2023 from health complications. Sandra was born on May 31, 1943. She was a loving mother, sister, and aunty.

She graduated from Freedom High School and was a loyal and hard working employee for Buddy's Product in Chicago for 45 years. She loved her bingo and her collection of turtles. Sandra was always there for her family. She often enjoyed going to and vending at the Pow-Wows, helping her sisters at the events, listening to the drums, and watching the dancers. She will be missed, loved, and remembered by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Nancy Metoxen of Oneida, her sisters Nancy Louise Hill and Edwina Metoxen.

She left behind her loving son, Marcelino David Rivera, her loving sisters Betty Lucille Jorgenson, Donna Marie Ineguez, Ramona Jean Sternal, Wallean Gale Garcia, Norean Metoxen, and Linda Rae Herrera, as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may come to call on Sunday, May 21, 2023 for visitation starting at 3:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street, De Pere, WI 54115. Visitation will continue Monday, May 22 from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at Oneida United Methodist Church, N6037 County Road E, Oneida, WI 54155. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jane Sommers presiding. Burial will follow at Oneida United Methodist Cemetery.
