Obituary

Sandra Ann (Metoxen) Schelk passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2017. Sandi was born to the late Betty (Benishek) and Whitney Metoxen on April 7, 1950. In 1997 Sandi married the love of her life; Frederick Schelk Jr. Sandi enjoyed doing adult coloring books and crocheting. She also enjoyed doing crafts and games. She really enjoyed hunting with Fred at their trailer. She is survived by her sisters, Bonnie (Darryl) Moore, Oneida, Barbara (Santos) Mendoza, Green Bay, Kathy Metoxen, Oneida, Tammy (Dale) Metoxen Sr., Green Bay, and brothers Darrell (Brenda) Metoxen, Green Bay and Steve Metoxen, Green Bay. Two brothers–in–laws, Alfonso Jimenez, and John Mendoza. Further survived by her step children, Frederick (Cindy) Schelk Sr., Beverly (Randall) Parker Jr., Cindy (David) Tank, and Donald Schelk. Many step and great step grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends Karen, and Carl. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred, her parents, Whitney and Betty Metoxen, half-brother Carl Benishek, great niece Mariah Danforth-Moore, and great nephew Drew Danforth, her Uncle William Metoxen, and Aunt Pauline Wilson. Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00PM – 7:00PM Sunday July 9, 2017. The Oneida Hymn Singers will sing at 6:30PM to bring the evening to a close. Visitation will continue on Monday after 9:00AM at the Green Bay Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1414 Shawano Ave. until time of service at 11:00AM with Pastor William Ochs officiating. Burial will follow in the Church of the Holy Apostles parish cemetery. Please go to www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the family.
